LUKOIL AND VOLKSWAGEN GROUP EXTEND COOPERATION

LUKOIL extended cooperation with Volkswagen Group on deliveries of the VW TL 52 167-approved engine oils to the European plants of the automaker for the next period.

Starting from 2017 LUKOIL supplies the European and Russian plants of the global automaker with factory fill engine oils. The Company manufactures this product at its plants in Lobau (Austria) and Perm (Russia), which are certified as per key car industry standard IATF 16949:2016, as well as under VDA 6.3 standard of the German Association of the Automotive Industry.

Range of products provided by LUKOIL is scheduled to be expanded with the next-generation 0W-20 low-viscosity engine oil approved for the most modern Volkswagen engines.

By now, LUKOIL has completed full set of laboratory, screening and engine tests of new oil developed in accordance with the strict requirements to fuel economy and environment safety of the modern and future Volkswagen Group cars. During last years, the product has been successfully tested in the European laboratories accredited by Volkswagen as well as in the OEM’s internal labs.

“Over the last four years, LUKOIL proved itself as reliable supplier for Volkswagen car plants in Russia and Europe. We are interested in the development of long-term partnership with Volkswagen Group both in the field of lubricants supplies and in the sphere of new products design in the future”, stated Kirill Vereta, General Director of LUKOIL Lubricants Company.
